Online Therapy Across Ohio

Anxiety & Stress Therapy in Ohio

A warm place to slow the spiral, understand what keeps you on alert, and build secure ways of moving through daily life.

Anxiety and ongoing stress can make it difficult to rest, focus, make decisions, or feel fully present. You may replay conversations, prepare for every possible outcome, monitor other people’s moods, or feel exhausted from staying on alert.

Therapy can offer space to understand these patterns and develop ways of responding that feel more supportive and sustainable. Elena Rodgers and Myles Kalina-Hammond provide online therapy for teens ages 13+ and adults experiencing anxiety and stress throughout Ohio.

Support shaped around daily life

Support for What Keeps You on Alert

Anxiety and stress can appear in your thoughts, body, relationships, and daily routines.

01

Chronic Anxiety & Overthinking

Replaying conversations, second-guessing decisions, and preparing for every possible outcome can leave you mentally exhausted. Therapy can help you understand the cycle and practice more helpful ways of responding.

02

Stress & Burnout

When your nervous system has been running on high alert for too long, rest may not feel restorative. Therapy can help you learn ways to slow down, reconnect with what you need, and develop healthy ways of coping.

03

Relationship Anxiety & People-Pleasing

Constantly monitoring other people’s moods, fearing conflict, or putting everyone else first can make relationships draining. Therapy offers space to build boundaries, self-trust, and a stronger sense of security.

04

Teen Anxiety & Emotional Overload

School pressure, changing relationships, identity questions, and intense emotions can feel overwhelming. New Leaf Psych offers teens an honest, nonjudgmental place to talk about what they are experiencing.

Common questions

Anxiety & Stress Therapy FAQs

What kinds of anxiety do you support?

New Leaf Psych supports clients experiencing generalized anxiety, social anxiety, chronic worry, overthinking, high-alert states, stress, and burnout. Your therapist will tailor sessions around your individual experiences and goals.

Are anxiety and stress the same thing?

Not exactly. Stress often relates to an identifiable pressure or demand and may ease when the situation changes. Anxiety may continue after the pressure has passed or arise without one clear trigger. They can overlap, but therapy focuses on your particular experience rather than forcing it into one category.

Do I need an anxiety diagnosis before reaching out?

No. You do not have to know exactly what to call what you are experiencing. Your initial sessions can help you and your therapist better understand what is happening and discuss what support may fit.

Do you work with teenagers online?

Yes. Elena and Myles both work with teens ages 13+ as well as adults. Virtual sessions are available to eligible clients who are physically located in Ohio during therapy.

How do I choose between Elena and Myles?

Both clinicians support anxiety and stress. Elena may be especially aligned with relational patterns, people-pleasing, and burnout. Myles also works with grief, traumatic loss, and depression. Review their profiles to decide whose experience and approach feel most aligned with your needs.
